Centripetal Desktop Preflight Software helps creative professionals easily generate error-free, production-ready PDFs that precisely match the technical specifications of their printer. By using locked directives supplied by print providers, Centripetal Desktop Preflight Software helps eliminate rework and resubmission, and results in shorter job cycle times, fewer job errors, and increased cost savings.
Flexible and easy to use, the software provides three ways to create a PDF. Users can: print directly from QUARKXPRESS Software using the Desktop Preflight XT; print to the desktop printer from any MACINTOSH Application; or drag and drop an ADOBE POSTSCRIPT or PDF File onto a hot folder or the Centripetal Desktop Preflight Software applet. Its powerful technology examines a file and notifies users of its status. If a file fails preflight, a warning report is generated so errors can be identified and fixed immediately. Successful files contain annotations with job information, and include the KODAK Certified Process mark.
